DRAG CHAIN CONVEYORS

Flow Force trailing chain conveyor solutions are ideally suited for transporting powdery, dusty or granular materials. These materials are often handled in power plants, smelters, pulp and paper mills and chemical industries, i.e., sand, fly ash, lime, smoke dust, among other materials.

It can also be tailored to your transport needs, regardless of the industry you work in. A special application is a damp trailing chain conveyor for ash and slag handling.

Depending on the conveyor chain material, the trailing chain conveyor can also handle warm materials efficiently and safely up to 700°C in continuous operation. The chain conveyor is typically constructed of hardened steel (e.g. 20 MnCr5), hardened steel (e.g. 27 MnCrB5 containing boron), heat resistant steel (e.g. W1.4713) or stainless steel (e.g. AISI420).

It is worth noting that Kopar has its own manufacturing for the links in the chain, and we can help you always select the most appropriate links, spindles and gears for any application.

FLEXIBLE DESIGN, HIGH INCLINATION ANGLES FOR CHALLENGING APPLICATIONS

Our drag chain conveyor solutions offer variability and flexibility during installation in your facility. High tilt angles and a modular design make it possible to install it even in difficult environments, while maintaining a transport capacity of several hundred tons with reasonably low operating costs.

BUILT FOR DURABILITY, EVEN IN A POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENT.

Our chain conveyor can also be designed to withstand potentially explosive environments in ATEX areas 21 and 22. It can also be installed with water cooling for simultaneous cooling of the transported equipment.

Many upgrades have been carried out by replacing the bonding material of toughened steel (manganese steel) with toughened steel (boron steel). This results in a two-life of the links, at least, and in many cases the sequence to replace the chain has increased by a factor of three or even four.

In any case, our engineers are at your disposal to make maintenance, modernization and reorganizations, as fast as possible to keep production shutdowns short. In addition, we always focus on minimal maintenance and full cost of ownership of our products.
